some_1_call_me_queen asked:

We had met on internet about 5 or 6 years ago . i was about 14 and he was 21. We were in different countries. We chatted and dated. had really good time together. I turned 18 and my parents found out. they were going to marry me with one of the guys they like ( my mom’s friends son) . but i hated him . he was ugly. i was in love with the internet guy. and i ran away from home. we got married about 2 and half years ago. but i couldn’t take it any more staying with his family. so i came back to America. with him. then i started talking to my dad and my sisters. my mom would still not talk to me. now i m happy with him . but i don’t some times i think it shouldn’t have happned like that. whenever i think about my past i think its a dream. or a movie. when i ran away it came into the newspaper in that country. and it doesn’t seem like true. i know the worst thing i did was i hurt my parents. now i m 21 and we are planning to have a baby. my husband love me and take really good care of me!

What newspaper and frequency of delivery is best for ads and circulars?

Sarah R asked:

My boyfriend and I are about to move into a rental house together. Money is going to be pretty tight, so we really want to be able to look at all of the ads and circulars to check out sale prices on food, cleaning products, toiletries, etc. We can read most of the news articles we want to read online, so this is mostly about the ads.

Which newspaper is better for this, the Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, or Oakland Press? Detroit News and Detroit Free Press both have three options: 7-day, 4-day (Thursday-Sunday), or just Sunday. Oakland Press has 7-day, 4-day (Thursday-Sunday) or 2-day (Thursday & Sunday), as well as an online edition.

Which paper and delivery option is best for ads? Do most ads just come on Sunday anyway, or are there some every day? Can you look at the ads in the online edition of the Oakland Press? It’s significantly cheaper. We only want to spend enough money to get what we need out of a paper and nothing more, but we really don’t know what we’re doing!

I have an MBA, now what?

Dee Dee asked:

I live in New York City, I’ve recently earned an MBA from Ellis College of NYIT and have no idea what to do now. I’ve worked as an administrative assistant for close to 7 years and my resume reflects just that. I do PC repair as a hobby on the side which is also listed on my resume. I am skilled at computing. Hardware, software, etc. My resume also reflects this. How do I get a worthy job here in New York with this newly earned MBA?? Or at least where could I start at an entry-level position. I’ve tried temping agencies, posting my resume online, reading newspapers…everything!!! Please Help…..Does anyone know where applicants are being accepted now..

Are you able to be happy when there is sadness in your environment?

Phoenix 寶尚羿 asked:

Is pretending to be happy the recipe for success. I’m actually not the least bit worried about myself but I read, hear and listen to lots of information daily which can dampen the cheerful mood. I have stopped reading newspapers but check a lot of stuff online and everyday something unfair is happenning somewhere and I don’t receive it well.

I’ve met some “feel-good” people who always seem happy because they pretend to ignore the ugliness in the world around them. Is it the right formula? To be selfish?

e-books: who is reading them?

♥ Sono A ♥ asked:

I see a lot of questions on Yahoo Answers about e-books and it makes me wonder, who is reading them and what do they like about them?

I have worked in both publishing and libraries, yet I don’ t know anyone who owns has an e-book reader. I read newspapers and journals at my desktop and via Blackberry. I have read books online. But if I want to sink my teeth into something, I will always prefer to actually have the item (newspaper, book, or mag) in my hand.

I have never LOVED an e-book. Something about the medium makes it seem frivolous like some blog entry. Maybe I am just an old fart at 30.

So I’m interested. If you read E-books why do you like them? Is it just the convenience? How old are you? Please tell me there are some pre-teens out there who read books!
