How can I find a newspaper article from like 1994?

JWilridge asked:

I want to read an article that was written about my mom back in like ‘94 or ‘95. I would just go to the library microfilms, however the article was written in CA and I halfway across the country in NE. I went to the web site of the local (CA) library, but that just gives you a link to the newspapers web site. On the newspapers web site you can only search articles back to 2000. Does anyone know of an online source that I can find the article on?

Get in touch with the paper by phone, they will probably have an archive department that can help you, either by letting you come over and seeing for yourself or by searching for you. Mind you, They’ll charge for it, though.
